See the tutorial (included as a sample Prozect outline) for full
usage information. Latest information is available on
http://www.janerob.com/rob/prozect .

Prozect is a hierarchical todo list and outliner, with the ability to
mix 'checkbox' entry lines with text-only entry lines. Prozect also
supports 'progress' items, which display a progress bar reflecting the
fraction of completed todo items amongst the item's children, and
'completion' items, which display a bar showing a user-specified
completion fraction. Prozect outlines are stored as text files,
compatible with Emacs 'outline mode'. Prozect has been tested on
OpenZaurus 3.2 with Opie 1.0, and Sharp ROMS 3.10 and 2.37.

If you find this software useful and have not done so already, please
purchase the full-function binary installation from
http://www.handango.com/ (just search for 'Prozect' or product ID 94229)
so that I can continue to work on open source software. The price is US$7.

Prozect is intended to be a Zaurus replacement for Progect, a Palm Pilot
application written by Laurent Burgbacher (http://progect.sf.net).
Imitation is said to be the sincerest form of flattery, and Progect was
something I found that I could not do without once I got my Zaurus. The
code for Prozect started as ZOutline by Serge Stinkwich
(2002, http://www.iutc3.unicaen.fr/serge/149), which itself was based on
KOutline (1999, http://www.linux.org/apps/AppId_5318.html).

Compiling:

I initially developed this software using development tools for Opie, the
Open Source replacement for Qtopia on the Zaurus. I later started using the
Sharp libraries to ensure compatibility, and switch back and forth at my
own whim; there should be no problem compiling with either. I don't use
tmake or similar tools, get your $QPEDIR and $QTDIR set correctly (for
native Zaurus work or qvfb) and a 'make all' should be all that is required.
To create an ipkg you will need the ipkg-build script and to create the
appropriate install directory tree.  Check the Makefile for the 'ipkg' target;
all the necessary files are included, see the scripts-ipkg directory.

Also included are perl scripts makever and ver_control, as the names suggest
I use them to generate and maintain version control IDs. The Makefile references
them, so I include them for your pleasure.

Good luck, I hope you enjoy Prozect.
